In Detail

The slurry coming from the slurry tank is pumped by means of the slurry pump to the AC-Press. The pump is designed as a rotary piston pump and consists mainly of:

1. rotary piston pump 
   casing: cast iron 
   pistons: cast iron 
   shafts: hardened steel 
   shaft sealing: stuffing box with a packing made of polyamide
2. clutch 
   slip clutch type for pump
3. gear motor drive 
   consisting of gear and motor suitable for frequency converter operation
4. base frame 
   for an assembly of the rotary piston pump and of the gear motor drive on a common base frame
