Both LENZING OptiFil and LENZING CakeFil can process sugar contents of 80°Brix and higher. Thanks to the patented backwash mechanisms, no external media backwash or similar measures are necessary.

As a rule, LENZING OptiFil and LENZING CakeFil can be operated continuously throughout an entire sugar campaign. In some cases, it is necessary to change the filter material in OptiFil (<1 hour of working time). Wear parts are usually checked at the end of the campaign and replaced only if necessary.

  • Since its first installation in 2012, the LENZING OptiFil system has been used more than 80 times in beet sugar factories, refineries, and cane sugar factories.

  • The LENZING CakeFil system was launched in 2023 and has since proven itself successfully in several beet sugar factories.
