In removing the solids from the cooling circuit the bacteria is deprived of nutrients. This robs them of their basis for life and reduces their ability to spread.

The LENZING OptiFil consists mainly of stainless steel. Where necessary, seals and other built-in plastics are used that are approved for use in drinking water.

Microorganisms in surface water, river water, and also in water circuits such as cooling water form a layer on various surfaces, including filter materials. These require high cleaning efficiency in order to be removed from the filter material. The use of LENZING OptiFil guarantees long service life for filter materials while also providing very fine filtration.
